- Without an account, everything you type stays in your browser. We cannot see it.
- With an account, your data is stored in a database in London, so it can reach your other devices.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data to train AI.
- Delete your account and your data goes with it.
Who runs Ayneetu
Ayneetu is run by Borroweddog Ltd, which is the data controller for the information described here.

What we hold, and why
| What | Why, and when |
|---|---|
| Everything you put in the app | Tasks, projects, clients, deliverables, notes, fees, invoices and settings. Stored in your account so it is on every device you sign in to. Only if you have an account. |
| Your email address | To send you sign-in codes. Only if you have an account. |
| Your IP address and the pages your browser loads | Our host's servers record these to deliver the site and keep it secure. Every visit. |
| Your Google Calendar events | Only if you connect Google Calendar. Events go from Google straight to your browser; their titles and times are not stored in your account. If you mark an event as a meeting or as your own time, that choice is saved with the event's ID. You can disconnect in Settings. |
| The beta usage record | Beta testers only. It records times, counts and which screens you used: never the names of your tasks, projects or clients, your notes, or any money. It is kept in your browser, and in your account if you are signed in. When you press Send my week, a copy is sent to us. Each copy stays until you delete your account. |
| Feedback | Only if you use Send feedback. What you write, the screen you were on, the app version and your screen size. Kept with your account until you delete it. |
Our legal basis
- Your account data and email address: we need them to provide the app you signed up for (contract).
- Hosting records: keeping the site running and secure (legitimate interests).
- Google Calendar, the beta record and feedback: you choose to connect Calendar, whether to send the record, and whether to send feedback (consent). You can stop at any time.
Who else handles it
These companies process data for us, only to provide their part of the service, under data processing agreements.
| Company | What it does, and where |
|---|---|
| Supabase | The database and sign-in. Your data is stored in London, UK. |
| Resend | Sends sign-in code emails. Ireland, EU. |
| Netlify | Hosts the site. Netlify is in the United States; transfers are covered by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. |
| Only if you connect Google Calendar. Google's own privacy policy covers your Google account. |
Who at Borroweddog Ltd can see your data
As the owner of the database, Borroweddog Ltd can technically see what is stored in accounts. We only look when you ask us to help with a problem, or when the law requires it. We never sign in as you. Our access to every service listed above is protected by two-factor sign-in.
How long we keep it
- Account data and email address: until you delete your account. Deleting removes it from the database straight away. Backup copies, where we keep them, are deleted within 7 days.
- Hosting records: kept by Netlify for a short period, then deleted.
- Everything in your browser: stays until you clear it, use Reset in Settings, or uninstall the app.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to have it in a form you can take elsewhere. Email timi@borroweddog.com and we will reply within one month.
Most of this you can do yourself in Settings › Data:
- Export your data downloads a file with everything in the app.
- Delete account removes everything stored in your account. The copy in your browser stays until you clear it.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies and storage
Ayneetu sets no cookies. It saves your data, and your sign-in if you have an account, in your browser's own storage; the app cannot work without it. Nothing in it is used for tracking. The beta usage record is off unless you open a beta invite link, use the app from your home screen, or turn it on in Settings. If you connect Google Calendar, Google's sign-in may set its own cookies.
Age
Ayneetu is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects what we do with data you have already given us, we will tell you in the app first.
